Using her God-given gifts & talents, Titia Arledge Califano, a graduate of Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas with a BS degree in Art, continually strives to make useful vessels made by hand. Function has proved to be the main focus in pleasing many customers & military families nationwide and overseas; capturing ideas from the customers' needs into clay vessels for everyday use has been the purpose of Mud Pies Pottery.
Every piece of pottery is thrown by hand on the potter's wheel one piece at a time, and/or formed on the slab roller to create unique & creative kitchenware for use in the microwave, oven and dishwasher.
Al & Jen Hoeksema of "Jus Cuz Pottery" from Spring Branch, TX, are the creators of other functional stoneware also being sold in our retail shop.
